An interesting spelling error
Lot 2909
Divus Constantine I, died 337. Follis (Bronze, 14 mm, 1.14 g, 6 h), Antiochia, 337-347. DV CONSTANTI-NVS PT AVGG Veiled head of Divus Constantine I to right. Rev. IVST VEM NEM (sic!) / SMA[NZ] Aequitas standing front, head to left, holding scales in her right hand. RIC 64 var. Very rare with this interesting spelling error on the reverse. Struck slightly off center and with minor flatness, otherwise, very fine.

From the collection of Dr. L. Ramskold, ex Jacquier 37, 7 September 2012, 617 (expertly cleaned since).

Interestingly, the reverse legend contains a misspelling; it should read IVST VEN MEM, but appears as IVST VEM NEM.
